In this review, we are going to see how to build simple contact forms by just using simple drag and drop option. Not only this service, useful to generate contact forms, but you can even generate order forms through which you can collect payments as well.
And the best part about this HTML contact form generator is that you can link it to your email autoresponder like Aweber so that you can build an email list easily.
FormGet Review – Brief Summary
Making contact forms with FormGet is just a simple thing, nothing great about that. But what makes it stand out from other form generators is that backend interface that you will get when you create your account with them and start using their service.
You have to set an email in your account and all the messages will be delivered to that email address. Also the emails are saved in your account so that when there is exchange of a lot of emails between you and a particular person, the entire conversation will be shown to you in a threaded view.
Apart from contact forms, you can even create order forms using the generator. To accept payments through this form, you will need a PayPal account. You can set the PayPal email in your account and the payments will be send there. You can even set a redirect page in the form so that when a payment is successful, you can redirect your visitor to some other page like downloads page or a page with your product links or video tutorials.
It might have been tricky before to create order forms to collect payments, but now that FormGet is here to help you out, you will not face any such difficulty. All you need is a FormGet PRO account and a PayPal account and you are good to go.
FormGet Review – How to Create Forms?
The first step to create the best forms is to sign up with FormGet. Visit the homepage through the link below and create your account. You should get a PRO account to get all the benefits of the service.
Once you have created your account, you will need to log in to your account. You will see your account dashboard just like the image below.
In the middle, you will be able to see your rough form. You can drag the different elements and drop them where you like to change the position and look of the form. If you are creating an order form, then you need to add the Payments field as well to your form and when you click on that field, you will be able to add the payments settings easily.
On the right hand side, you will see options from where you can change the field labeling and make them required fields if you want. You need to click on the particular field and this third window will pop-up on the right hand side.
If you want to change the title and description of your form, then click on the “Your Form Title” field. Once you are satisfied with your form, you need to hit the Next Step button.
Once you hit the next step, your settings will be saved and a basic contact form as shown in the below image will be generated. You can now add the final touches to personalize the form.
On the right side, you will see some custom options to change the look and feel of your form. The first option is the Design Templates. You can choose from the built-in templates and add a custom background if you like. Otherwise, the built-in templates come with their own background images, which are totally awesome.
Below that, you get an option called Form Colors. In this setting, you will be able to select the fonts for the text from a wide range of options. And if you feel like it, you can even change the color of the form. With Advance Customizer, you can add different colors to various different fields, which I won’t recommend because a lot of colors will just mess up your form. Unless you are designer or you have a good sense of various color combinations, stay away from this option.
And the last option is the Footer Settings. This will be the signature of your contact form. You can add your company name, your social media profiles, your address, contact number, website URL etc. You can even change the color of the footer from this option.
You are all done. Hit the Save Changes button on top right corner and you will be redirected to your account dashboard where all your forms will be listed.
